I never posted the whole story of me giving Misha the book that so many of you sent me messages for (and Olivia wanted to read about it), so this is pretty much the whole story.

Sadly, I didn’t ask for a picture of him with the book because I stood in line in front of him for long enough and I didn’t want to hold up those waiting behind me, but I do remember everything (for the most part).

Anyway, here’s the story…

Firstly, this is what the book looked like from the front cover:

While I had been waiting in line for Misha’s autograph I got increasingly nervous (even after meeting him for photo ops) because autographs, I think, are much more personal and face to face and I was totally tongue tied as to what I was going to say to him to give him the book.

I made a bit of a fool of myself because after he signed my photo op with him (which within itself was out of body experience, haha) he totally expected me to be on my way, but I was something like, “I actually have a gift for you, too.”

And the look he gave me… He seemed surprised that a fan would want to actually give him a gift (and he’s gotten plenty of gifts before).

I managed to say something about everyone who sent me messages and how I put it together and everything, but that was mostly a quick ramble because I was so nervous at this point (I’m sorry, you guys, but Misha Collins is literally my favorite human in the world, of course I was nervous, haha).

He stared at the cover for a while (which was covered with Zennia’s beautiful art), still seemingly shocked, and said something along the lines as, “This cover art is beautiful.”

And then, rather than just setting it aside, the man actually opened up the damn book and started going page by page glancing over the messages written in the book and actually reading some of them as a whole.

I don’t remember everything he made a comment on, but I remember him making a comment about how it was amazing that not only were there U.S. fans in there, but also many fans from overseas. I genuinely believe he was baffled that fans, especially across the world, could actually be touched by him one way or another to write him a message.

He also read over a poem that went something like, “Roses are red, violets are blue, I love Misha Collins, And his charity too,” which made Misha laugh and remark, “That is such a crappy poem.” What an ass, haha.

And I told him about someone who literally just wrote “thank you” for their submission and he was like, “Well, that’s good because they’re down to the point.” And he then he proceeded to smile.

After that (while I was literally melting into a puddy in front of Misha) he placed the book in the bag beside him and looked up at me into my eyes and was like, “I’ll read this whenever I feel sad. Thank you so much.”

And then I went on my way.

So, that’s pretty much the whole story. I’m still choked up about it, oh my god. The entire time he was entirely surprised that so many people across the globe could be touched by him in that way and for him to read some of those submissions on the spot, I don’t know what he felt, but he was very humble about it and everything.

Basically, everyone, Misha Collins is a perfect human being, okay?
